For more than 40 years, the Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST) has been listening, learning, and asking tough questions about the lives and livelihoods of communities across India. This year, at the third
edition of Shram Aur Hum, we’re opening up our world in a new way, through an exhibition: Mapping Labour: Feminist Inquiry into the World of Work.

This exhibition isn’t just about charts and reports. It’s about the stories behind the data - of communities turning evidence into action, of women stepping forward as leaders and change-makers. It’s also about the tools and approaches that have guided us, and the
partnerships that continue to move us forward.
